Clipboard
The clipboard in the file platform allows users to temporarily store documents and folders to make them easier to organize and move. This feature simplifies the management of large amounts of files and supports efficient workflows.
Clipboard functions
- Caching documents and folders:
- Users can copy single or multiple documents and folders to the clipboard. This is especially useful when documents need to be moved within the document management system without having to make immediate changes to the file structure.
- Organize and manage:
- Content stored in the clipboard can be easily reviewed and organized before it is finally moved to a new location. Users can select items and then set the target destination.
- Easy accessibility and use:
- The clipboard is always accessible and can be accessed via the main menu or the toolbar. Users can access the documents and folders stored in the clipboard and perform the move at any time.
- Temporary storage:
- Contents stored in the clipboard remain there until the user either moves them to a new location or removes them from the clipboard. This provides a flexible way to work with files without making immediate changes to the file system.
Using the clipboard
- Adding elements:
- Select the files or folders you want to add to the clipboard. This can be done by selecting the appropriate option in the file or folder's "Add to Clipboard" menu.
- Content management:
- Review the contents of the clipboard, rearrange them if necessary, and perform the desired move operation by selecting the destination and confirming the operation.
